The Palliative and End of Life Care network programme team has published its evaluation into this year’s National Dying Matters Awareness Week.

You can read the report here.

The annual awareness week aims to place the importance of talking about dying, death and bereavement firmly on the national agenda (find out more about Dying Matters here).

During this year’s campaign, which started on 14th May, the team hosted the ‘Art of Dying’ across the Health & Social Care Partnership with exhibitions and interactive events held at its offices in Piccadilly Place and Churchgate House.

Across the Greater Manchester and Eastern Cheshire area, local groups held a series of events, which included workshops, community activities, afternoon tea dances and much more.

The team is now pleased to release a full evaluation of this year’s events along with supporting appendices - see attachments below.
